Open Up Workshop and Coaching
The old saying: "The fish rots from the head down..." has been top-of-my-mind when delivering the Open Up Communication process to business. If I couldn't work with the owner/s of the business I would not take on the client, as I couldn't see the possibility for sustainable change. Then I learned something else: "The fish rots from the head down and heals from the middle out..." This distinction made me aware that anyone who embraces a personal process of self-awareness and transformation can change their world. And this means anyone who is committed to creating change in their workplace can if they choose to.
In mid 2011 I began working with 2 teams (from a large corporate) with the focus on creating a sustainable culture of open and honest communication and responsible behaviour based on love not fear. The intention is to transform the culture from the middle out and although it is early in the whole process, there have been some noticeable shifts in how people are relating and communicating and in the outcomes they are creating.
The upshot of all this is that I have re-designed the Open Up Communication workshop and coaching program specifically for the larger corporate business market. The fundamentals remain the same and the delivery is different to cater to the various teams, groups and people dynamics peculiar to large multi-national businesses.
I am excited to be offering my work to a broader market in 2012 and would love your comments, feedback and, of course, referrals to anyone you feel would be open to the opportunity.
